How to Clean a Toilet Properly

Apply your toilet cleaner under the rim and around the bowl surface. Leave it for the time recommended on the product label. Brush the bowl thoroughly with a toilet brush, paying attention to under the rim, then flush to rinse. Wipe the seat, lid and handle.

Short, frequent cleaning sessions are easier and more effective than occasional heavy scrubbing. Pick a fixed day of the week and keep your supplies together so the routine takes only a few minutes.
